Client's Goals:

These client’s needed more room, so we did a two story addition, as well as an interior renovation to update the entire space.  This family had a growing family with three kids, so they definitely needed more space, but with that addition, we did not want to stray too far away from the aesthetic of the rest of the neighborhood.  That was important to them.

Points of Interest:

• All of the exterior, but primarily the front entryway detail.  We used stucco, exteira and paint.  Using these materials, even though they are dark, it makes the front door really stand out.  It gives you a nice focal point for the front façade.
• The kitchen went from a space big enough for two people, to a size that will be able to accommodate this growing family.  They now have ample storage and cupboard space, and a desk area right off of the kitchen, which is great so the entire family can be in one area together.
• The feel of the space in its entirety.  Throughout the home, the soft wood tones and light paint, paired with pops of colour in the tile make the entire home feel cohesive.
